When decay forms, we simply remove the decayed section of the tooth, clean the area and flush out any bacteria. We will then fill the hole with a safe, tooth-coloured material. This prevents the cavity form growing larger while avoiding possible infections and the need for complex clan therapy. We also restore the tooth shape and function.

Heavily restored or cracked teeth can often benefit from full coverage restorations that provide strength and are aesthetically pleasing. Another alternative to implants or dentures for missing teeth are bridges.

Implants are universally considered the gold standard when it comes to replacing missing teeth. Essentially, they are crowns or bridges supported by an implant inside the bone. Implants are strong, durable, aesthetically appealing and a very healthy alternative to dentures and bridges.

Missing teeth can often be replaced by a partial or full denture. Being easy to insert and remove, they allow easy access when cleaning your other teeth. Our dentists will work closely with our dental laboratory to deliver a solution which promises excellent fit, function and appearance.

We recommend a Root Canal treatment if your inflamed or infected tooth is deemed to be salvageable and/or valuable. Root Canal treatment involves – in most cases – 3 visits a few weeks apart. This treatment is painless.

1st visit – we access inside the tooth before cleaning, measuring and medicating.

2nd visit – we perform the mechanical preparation of the canals before cleaning and medicating.

3rd visit – we replace the root filling

At Hart Dental, we believe it is extremely important for children to build good oral health habits early in their lives because they provide the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health. We aim to introduce your child to dentistry in a positive and fun way so that each appointment is enjoyable and not scary. For children, we do check-ups, cleans, fissure seals, fillings, and extractions.

We are accredited Invisalign suppliers and also provide early orthodontic assessment. If your child requires braces, we will refer you to one of our trusted orthodontists.

If you have badly broken down or infected teeth that cannot be saved successfully, we can remove them. If it is an unusually complex case or in the event of impacted wisdom teeth, we will refer you to an Oral surgeon for assessment and management.

This group of conditions involves jaw joint, ligaments and muscles that are characterized by pain and dysfunction. Hart Dental offers a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating these conditions. We will protect teeth with a night guard (occlusal splint) and provide a combination of Pain relief or Anti-inflammatory medications. We also offer muscle relaxant injections to relieve the pain from overused hypertrophic muscles.

We work closely with our recommended physiotherapists and specialists when structural damage requires specialized splints or surgical care.
